Please Note

The Shipping Instructions and Shipping Labels documents are frequently updated.  You should download and use the new documents before each shipment.

A couple of clarifications:

1.      There is a cost of shipping with STS.  You will find the current per cubic foot cost in the Shipping Instructions document.

2.      The cost calculation has changed as of September 1, 2008.  Please check the new Shipping Instructions at left for details.

3.      Every package shipped to us must have an STS shipping label attached that is completely filled in.

4.      If you have packages drop shipped to us you must send us the tracking information so that we can properly match the package up with the organization you are supporting.

5.      A new Special Vehicle Pricing page has been added at left.

6.      A note about Barrels – Since we cannot utilize the space around the round part of the barrel, we measure them as if they were square (largest diameter x largest diameter x height)

Change in Shipping Dates

In the past we have shipped 4 containers per year with projected shipping dates listed (ex. February, May, August, November).  We have always maintained a policy that, regardless of the scheduled date, we would only ship a container when it was full.  This is due to financial reasons.

Due to an increasing demand for shipping along with certain organizations utilizing substantial portions of a container, we are changing to a “when full” shipping date method.  So we encourage you to send your materials as soon as you have them.  We will load them on a first come – first served basis and send each container as soon as it is full.  This will provide for the earliest possible shipping date and also eliminate any disappointment from a container filling up prior to the estimated shipping date.

Based upon last year’s experience, we expect that more than 4 containers will be shipped in 2009.  We are willing to increase the number of shipments in order to meet demand.  So please begin sending your goods as you have them available and we will make every effort to get them on the earliest container shipping.

If you need a significant portion of a container

We have recently had several ministries that needed to secure a substantial portion of a container (25%, 50% or more).  We will work with you to ensure that your entire group of goods can get onto a single container.

Please let us know as early in the planning process as possible about this need and we will begin working with you to meet your ministry needs.  By combining other ministries goods onto the container with yours we are able to reduce the shipping cost to your ministry.
